Bachelorette Ashley Hebert is rocking a huge rock. Her giant engagement ring was delivered by celebrity jeweler Neil Lane back when the proposal was about to take place in Fiji. However, at that time, it was hard to get a good look at the expensive token of JP's affection.
Thank goodness a good source got the goods on this particular good.
Reportedly, The Bachelorette Ashley Hebert is now in possession of a 3 carat engagement ring with a shape that is officially dubbed as the "Asscher cut." The stone, which is referred to as colorless, is enhanced by 1.5-carats of Micro Pave diamonds that surround the main diamond.
And the worth of this particular ring?
Some $150,000, which is approximately $60,000 more than the ring bachelorette Emily Maynard received and then gave back to Brad Womack.
So, with the stats documented on this very important ring now being worn by a TV reality show star (see a close-up photo here), one has to wonder what kind of wedding band will be chosen to go with it if or when that happens.
Against a beautiful tropical ocean backdrop in Fiji, Rosenbaum got down on one knee, removing a little something from his pocket: a dazzling, hand-crafted Neil Lane diamond and platinum ring.
"I'm madly in love with you. I'm so in love with you," Rosenbaum told Hebert, 27. "You're the one. You're it. Ashley, will you marry me?"
She responded in kind -- and with a passionate kiss. The couple are planning a fall 2012 wedding.
Hebert joins a galaxy of A-list stars to flaunt a Neil Lane sparkler on her engagement finger. Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson, Sandra Bullock, Brooke Shields, Nicole Richie and Jennifer Hudson have all worn Neil Lane pieces as they prepped to wed.
